Humana Youth in Action Projects

In 2010, Humana People to People in South Africa starts two new projects called Humana Youth in Action in the West District Municipality.

Humana People to People in South Africa formed a partnership with Dell to equip the Child Aid Doornkop Centre as well as well as Youth Developmnet Centres at Simunye and Munsieville in the West Rand with 75 computers.

The aim of the project is to offer computer literacy, education and skills training to young people, and at the same time involve them in doing good for their communities. The Youth Development Centres will assist matric students with educational support. Support will also be provided to youth who are re-writing their matric exams. These Computer Centres are expected to reach a total of 1 200 community menbers per year.
