15 years in the fight against Poverty and HIV and AIDS in South AfricaHumana People to People in South Africa wishes to work with government and invite other stakeholders inside and outside SA to join hands in the continued fight to improve conditions for the poor and the disadvantaged. Humana started little in South Africa by collecting second hand clothes and selling them to shops in Soweto and Alexandra in order to implement the first development project. Economic Development and Job Creation
HPP-SA is aware that we cannot contribute to the change of the macroeconomic structures of society, which are the main underlying reason for the poverty and inequality. This has to be dealt with by government in collaboration with the international society, as it is a global trend. However, HPP can with the poor to improve their economic situation.
