The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence start today. Let us continue to advocate for women's human rights throughout the year, from 16 to 365 days. Humana People to People in Sekhukhune held a peaceful march at Burgersfort on November 15, 2022, for the Gender-Based Violence Awareness Campaign titled "Silence Allows Violence, Speak Up!" SAPS Burgersfort, Child Aid Tubatse, DOH, DSD, CPF, the Bullta Taxi Association, IHPS, CMR, and Capitec Bank all contributed to the campaign. Throughout the campaign, various stakeholders and GBV survivors shared GBV-related information and resources. The campaign drew 71 participants and distributed 330 IEC materials on GBV and domestic violence #16DaysofActivism2022
