Playtime just got a major upgrade for the little ones at Child Aid Doornkop. On 28 August 2026, corporate partner First National Bank (FNB) visited the centre to officially hand over a vibrant new jungle gym for the Preschool of the Future, complete with swings, a slide, a climbing net, and a crawl tunnel. The generous gesture goes far beyond outdoor play; it creates a safe, stimulating space where young learners can build physical coordination, build confidence, and simply enjoy being children.
Hands-On Support and Community Care
The FNB team did not stop at the playground. Demonstrating true active citizenship, team members rolled up their sleeves to assist with essential maintenance around the centre. Volunteers helped weed and water the local backyard gardens, cleaned up the facility grounds, and spent meaningful time engaging with staff and children.
