HOSTING LEADERSHIP: DR. NTAYIYA VISITS TCE SEKHUKHUNE SAFE SPACE IN BURGERSFORT

On 31 August 2026, the team at the TCE Sekhukhune Safe Space in Burgersfort had the honour of hosting Dr. Ntayiya, CEO of the Centre for Community Impact (CCI). The high-level visit offered a valuable opportunity for meaningful dialogue, offering leadership a first-hand view of local progress, key achievements, and ongoing health interventions across Limpopo Province. During the visit, Dr. Ntayiya engaged directly with staff to review overall project performance, address operational challenges, and explore innovative ways to enhance frontline service delivery.

Amplifying Community Voices

A major highlight of the day was an interactive session held in the hotspot, where community members and program beneficiaries took centre stage. Participants spoke openly about their experiences, sharing stories of positive change and offering practical suggestions to shape future programming. This direct feedback underscores the importance of keeping community voices at the centre of health and development initiatives. Direct dialogue between leadership, field teams, and local beneficiaries ensures that programs remain responsive, compassionate, and impactful.

Demonstrating Sustainable Impact

The day concluded with a guided site tour at Child Aid Tubatse, demonstrating the community development model in action. The walkthrough showcased how holistic support, localized outreach, and family-cantered development work hand-in-hand to build long-term resilience. Sincere gratitude goes to Dr. Ntayiya and the entire Centre for Community Impact team for their thoughtful engagement, continuous partnership, and dedication to uplifting communities.
